Mission: St Francis Catholic Singles (SFCS) formerly (SGSP) Serving God as a Single Person is a contemporary circle of men and women, specifically ages 30's, 40's, 50's who are single or single again and wish to lead more fulfilled, empowered lives by deepening their Catholic spirituality and meeting like-minded peers.   SGSP was formed in March 2001 to acknowledge the challenge of living singly in today's world by offering topics and events that address the following five values: the spiritual, intellectual, practical, social and charitable.
The SFCS schedule is organized by the SFCS Planning Committee and our members.

St. Francis Catholic Singles (SFCS)
has five basic Core Values:
the spiritual, intellectual, practical, social, charitable. We strive to address each one of these values with the way we conduct the group and by the varied activities sponsored and those supported by SFCS.

The Spiritual --- Not a study group, but thoughtful.  Opportunities to nourish our spirituality by deepening our understanding of Catholic doctrine.

The Intellectual --- Not a study group, but inquisitive. Opportunities to nourish our spirituality by deepening our understanding of Catholic doctrine.

The Practical   --- Not a support group, but supportive. Issues of concern in the daily living of the single life are addressed. Topics have included Developing Healthy Relationships, Financial Planning for Singles, Single Parenting.

The Social --- Not matchmaking, but relationship-friendly. In addition to social events, the group aims to create an atmosphere that makes new and returning members feel welcomed and enables them to develop friendships and relationships.

The Charitable ---  Not a soup kitchen, but of service. SFSC provides opportunities to give of ourselves to those in need.
